Minecraft in Skyrim

SkyCraft is the public Minecraft-in-Skyrim project. A Skyrim SKSE plugin and a Minecraft Fabric mod share memory. Minecraft stays hidden. Skyrim draws the world. You need Skyrim Special Edition on the Anniversary Edition runtime and a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition.

What the project publishes

The README says you move with Minecraft movement on Skyrim terrain, place and break blocks, and fight Skyrim NPCs with Minecraft weapons. Friends who also run SkyCraft can join the Minecraft world. Each player keeps their own Skyrim. The author calls it early and experimental and recommends a save from after Helgen, or Alternate Start.

Melty lists the same project, credited to chasmlol, and describes one-click install for games you already own. The GitHub README is still the requirements list we checked: SKSE64, Address Library for the Anniversary Edition, and the release zip from that repo. This site does not host the zip.

Questions

Is SkyCraft the same as the Minecraft in Elden Ring clip?

No. SkyCraft targets Skyrim Special Edition on Windows and has a public GitHub release. The Elden Ring clip is a different video, by a different person, without that download.

Do I have to buy Minecraft?

You need a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition. The README says the release bundles a portable Prism Launcher that downloads Minecraft and Java. It does not give you a free copy if you do not own one.
