What those articles describe

GamesRadar says a developer named Funny-Bones rebuilt Elden Ring’s player movement and combat in Rust as a controller that could be added to other games, and that a second person used it in Skyrim. The article quotes the poster saying it is fully playable and not a passthrough, and that the Skyrim mod would be uploaded soon. games.gg says the same: no Nexus page and no release date as of 6 October 2026.

The Rust project those pieces name is github.com/Funny-Bones/ELDEN-RING-Combat-Rewrite. We have not played a Skyrim build, because the articles did not link one. An older, smaller mod, EldenCounter, only adds Elden Ring’s guard counter to Skyrim. That is not this combat rewrite.

Do not confuse it with the clip wave

IGN’s “Vibe-Coded Mashup Mods Have Taken Over X This Week” describes a flood of decompiled mashup clips, including Escape from Tarkov in Skyrim and Spider-Man in Arkham City. It does not document a downloadable Skyrim-and-Elden-Ring combat mod. A clip is not an install.
