Minecraft in Mario 64
There is a real Super Mario 64 voxel-engine demo, and you cannot download it. Held Games, updated 1 October 2026, traces it to a May 2025 showing by the modder behind the Mario 64 Randomizer and Mario Builder 64. It ran on original Nintendo 64 hardware. Sixteen months later they still found no patch, no release, and no public repository for that engine.

What not to mix it up with
ER Mario is Mario 64 movement inside Elden Ring, and that one does have a GitHub release. Mine 64 is a separate one-megabyte homebrew game, not a hack of Super Mario 64. Neither is the unreleased voxel engine.

No. Mine 64 is standalone Nintendo 64 homebrew. The voxel engine was built inside Super Mario 64 and has not been released.
