How to install Mojavecraft
A Melty package that plays Minecraft inside Fallout: New Vegas. Outdoors, Minecraft physics and the hotbar take over, while New Vegas keeps the pause menu, Pip-Boy, and conversations. Follow the creator if a step here and the README disagree.
Minecraft: Java Edition × Fallout: New Vegas
- Windows
Last checked 8 Oct 2026
What it does
- Load an outdoor save and the page says you move as Steve over the Mojave, with Minecraft hearts and a hotbar.
- E opens the Minecraft inventory. T chats. Slash runs commands. Esc, Tab, and R stay with New Vegas. B switches controls back.
- J salvages junk into block materials. The page describes perk-like rewards for a farm, a house, and a beacon.
Requirements
- New Vegas
- Fallout: New Vegas. The page does not name a patch.
- Minecraft
- A Microsoft account that owns Java Edition. The first Play asks you to sign in, then downloads Minecraft.
Platforms: Windows
Install steps
- Use Play on the Mojavecraft Melty page and sign in to Minecraft once.
- Load a save that is outdoors.
- Read the key list on that page before you rebind anything. We have not played it.
Before you touch a save
- Single player. Script-heavy New Vegas mods already fight each other. Add this on a spare save.
- The page credits the Universal Modder Minecraft passthrough example and SkyCraft's approach. It is still a different package.
