How to install Azeroth Wilds

Michael Dijak's Melty package puts Classic World of Warcraft creatures into Valheim and reads their models from your own Classic Era install. It does not launch WoW or talk to Blizzard. Follow the creator if a step here and the README disagree.

What it does

  • Murlocs, kobolds, and gnolls spawn in named biomes, using Classic models, sounds, and Valheim's combat.
  • They drop Classic trade goods that Haldor buys. An Elwynn anvil crafts bandages and a soup.
  • A warrior trainer at the starting stones teaches Heroic Strike, Charge, and Battle Shout on Alt plus a number key.

Requirements

Valheim
Built for 1.0.17. Melty installs BepInEx and the mod.
WoW Classic Era
Version 1.15.9 installed on the same PC. Retail alone is not enough. The mod reads those files and does not include them.

Platforms: Windows

Install steps

  1. Install Valheim and WoW Classic Era, then use Play on the Melty page.
  2. The page says the mod never starts World of Warcraft. Keep it that way.

Before you touch a save

  • Single player. We have not played it.
  • Blizzard has taken down fan projects that redistributed game files. This listing says it only reads a local install. Do not repack those files.
